Where software is not enough.
Some equipment has no interface to read: it closes a contact, or speaks a serial protocol nobody documents any more, or says nothing at all. Our own probes and edge devices bring it into the same picture as everything else on site.
Contact closures and serial links
A relay or an RS-232 port is enough. What the equipment cannot say about itself, our device says for it.
RF and on-air quality
Signal measured where the transmitter cannot measure itself, so the question «is it actually on air?» has an answer that does not depend on the transmitter.
